Searching My Bluebird

Theoretically I am dead inside
driving myself an emotionless ride
hiding behind an upbeat self
I’m looking for my bluebird,
on this lonely island of nothingness.

Some say it’s far in life lessons,
some found it in nearby American basins
eating those problematic insects,
carving home in chancy surroundings
to compete the presence of starlings.

Don’t know what these signs resemble
but they do prevent my hopes to tremble,
suggesting me to stop the ride
inclining my faith towards the search
as I bonded it to revive myself.
